Shaping History

John Lewis didn't simply witness history. He shaped it. A life well lived. RIP.

A no baseliner who put his life at risk to challenge the status quo for social justice.

A legacy of words and actions to live by. John Lewis commemorated the anniversary of the march for voting rights known as Bloody Sunday.

"Love over hate. Courage over Fear."

"..there are still invisible signs buried in the hearts in humankind that form a gulf between us. Too many of us still believe our differences define us instead of the divine spark that runs through all of human creation.”

“When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have to speak up. You have to do something.” Lewis dedicated his life to fearlessly holding our country to its promise of equal justice.

John Lewis will be truly missed but always remembered.
